Welcome to Cornell Engineering and the Cornell SWE family! Every year, we hold a SWEek of welcome where
students can mingle with other students and upperclassmen and learn about opportunities at Cornell! Check
out our Google calendar and Instagram for the schedule!
Student-Facutly Dinner
SWE members get the opportunity to talk in small groups with various Cornell Engineering faculty
members and listen to what these faculty members have to say about their own experience as a woman
in engineering.
WE Conference
National SWE Conference is held in a different
city every year and attended by over 15,000 attendees. It's an awesome opportunity to
network with other female engineers, attend educational talks that range from imposter syndrome in the
workplace to better decision making, and participate in the world's largest career fair for women engineers.
Women in Engineering Day
Every year we run Women in Engineering Day for accepted students, where we seek to expose admitted
women to the opportunities at Cornell and the influence and strength of our section of SWE.
We seek to foster a welcoming environment for our newly accepted students and
celebrate their accomplishments.
General Body Meetings
Cornell SWE's General Body meetings are monthly opportunities for our
members to gather to network and learn about upcoming events/opportunities. We
provide a different social activity and food, as well as raffle prizes!
